To practice Peacock Pose in the right way, follow the steps given below:
1)- Firstly, sit down on a flat surface with your knees bent.
2)- Keep your heel close to each other and make sure your knees are wide.
3)- Now, bend forward, place your palms on the ground between your fingers pointing towards your body.
4)- Slowly bend your elbows and press them towards your stomach, placing the weight of your body on your hands.
5)- Slowly, spread your legs backwards, lift them off the ground.
6)- In the final position, the weight of your body should be on your palms and arms and your entire body should be above and parallel to the ground.
7)- Tighten your shoulders, straighten your head and set your gaze forward.
8)- Try to hold the posture for a few minutes but don’t force yourself.
9)- Now slowly return to your first position, relax your body and slowly breathe in and out.
10)- Try to repeat this asana at least approx. three times.
